If you would like to install the Ultimate Survey Enterprise survey software in the root of an IIS web site, please follow these guidelines:

1. Create a new IIS site for the UltimateSurvey folder rather than using host headers. This will properly create the IIS application and register the Ultimate Survey Enterprise DLLs.

2. From your base IIS installation, copy the "aspnet_client" folder and all of its subfolders to the new Ultimate Survey site. Failure to do this may result in blank pages being returned.

3. Properly set IIS permissions if the web site is outside of the wwwroot directory. Specifically, make sure that the IUSR_machinename account has read permission on the entire directory and write permission on the web.config file.

Once you have completed these changes, attept to login (or run the install page if it has not already been completed).
